Submission Details
The deadline for submission of abstracts is October 15, 2025. Invitations for full papers will be sent by November 26, 2025 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference's Technical Committee.
Guidelines for the preparation and submission of papers will be posted by November 2025. Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their full paper by January 21, 2026, along with at least one full conference registration. Authors are expected to present their paper during the conference.
The Geohazards 9 Technical Committee will review all papers for clarity, technical merit, and relevance to the conference. Our goal is to inform each author of their paper’s acceptance by March 4, 2025. Authors will be informed by e-mail of the review results, and any relevant comments, at that time. All authors must submit a final paper in PDF format by March 25, 2026.
Final decisions regarding the technical merit, relevance, and assigned session topic for accepted papers are the responsibility of the Technical Committee.
Geohazards 9 will include a poster session with dedicated time in the conference program. Authors can indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation when they submit their abstract.
All accepted papers, for which at least one author has registered for the conference, will appear in the published proceedings of the conference – each attendee will receive the electronic proceedings as part of their registration package.
